TD Brian Stanley welcomes this weeks announcement on new schools in Monasterevin
I welcome announcement by the Department of Education regarding the commitment that St. Pauls Secondary School is to proceed to construction in 2016. Its also good news that the new amalgamated primary school to replace Scoil Eimhín Naofa and ST. Peters National school is due to proceed to construction in 2017.
These schools have an acute accommodation crisis at present due to the condition of the buildings that they’re currently in and super-sized classes.
I have been making representations to successive Ministers for Education for over three years to have new schools provided in Monasterevin.
I will do everything possible to ensure that there is no slippage in the timeline given for the construction of these schools.ENDS
Dear TD of Monasterevin
Please could you contact with TD from Kildare town and TD from Newbridge and join to their petition if reducing irish rail fares became in sallins short hop zone and naas they already pay 3.5 eur were to Newbridge and Kildare is 15.05 eur and Monasterevin little bit more please could you sign off pettion in Monasterevin and join other politician on that important case fir all local people as you are TD and all importance matters should be area of your interest.
